the location IS great! it is literally steps away from st mark's square. i could easily return to the hotel to rest my legs after lunch. there are many awesome restaurants just around the corner.
i had to carry my suitcase to the third floor. the room WAS small and old. it wasn't clean, with mold between the bathroom tiles.

the staff were very friendly, and nothing was too much bother for them. rooms were clean, and the bed was comfy. breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice for everyone.
the stairs in the hotel are very steep! so, if you have mobility issues it's definitely something to consider.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. They helped me with my bags up the stairs (a kind gesture). The location is fantastic, only a short walk to St Mark's Square. I enjoyed the included breakfast. It offered a nice variety of choices.
The stairs in the building are quite steep. Guests with mobility issues might find them challenging.
